“Rotary Serving Humanity”

Born on February 19, 1969, Dr. Raman Aneja is a distinguished business leader, humanitarian, and dedicated Rotarian whose life reflects a seamless blend of
enterprise and service.

As the Managing Director of The Great Eastern Exports, he has built a respected global presence in the home textiles industry. Expanding beyond business, he has diversified into real estate and is actively developing premium holiday homes across Goa and other parts of India. A graduate of Punjab University, Dr. Aneja is widely admired for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to societal impact.

A Rotarian since 2004 and a proud member of the
Rotary Club of Panipat Royale, his journey in Rotary is marked by excellence and purpose. As Club President (2010–11), he led his club to achieve the Best Club Running Trophy and was honored as the Best President of the District. His leadership reached new heights when he served as District Governor (2016–17), embodying the RI theme “Rotary Serving Humanity.”

Historic Contribution to The Rotary Foundation: 
Raised a record-breaking USD 630,000 — the highest ever in RI District 3080.

Global Medical Missions:
Led and coordinated missions across Gabon, Cameroon, Madagascar, Ethiopia, and Mozambique, helping deliver life-changing surgeries to over 2,000 patients.

Healthcare Initiatives:
Instrumental in installing four dialysis machines at Sat Jinda Kalyana Hospital, Panipat. Currently advancing global grant projects providing free high-quality artificial limbs and building Nai Disha Vidyalaya at Panipat for slum children.

WASH & Community Service Leadership:
Played a key role in the Rotary India WASH in Schools Initiative (2017–2021) and served as District WASH Chairman (2018–19).

International Representation:
Represented Rotary International as RI President’s Representative to District 3870, Iligan City, Philippines (2018–19).

Strategic Rotary Roles:
Served as ARPIC, End Polio Now Coordinator, Stewardship Chair (2023–25), and currently serves as District Rotary Foundation Committee Chair (2026–29).

Haryana Ratan Award (2015) All India Conference of Intellectuals.

Pride of Asia International Award Conferred in Bangkok by Global Achievers Foundation.

Honorary Doctorate (Honoris Causa) Awarded by a French university for global contributions to business and humanitarian service.

Dr. Raman Aneja is supported by his wife, Rotarian Past President Meenu Aneja, his partner in both life and service. Together, they are Major Donors Level II, Paul Harris Society Members, and Benefactors, having contributed over USD 46,000 to The Rotary Foundation.

Their commitment is further reflected in the establishment of the “Meenu & Raman Aneja Endowment Fund” with a contribution of USD 26,000.

They are blessed with three children — Siddharth, Sonakshi, and Suhani.
